so i have been on two dates with this guy i REALLY like.. the first date he was extremely nervous (which he admitted to me afterwards when we started talking more) then during the second one he held my hand during the whole movie we went and saw and gave a really good hug at the end.. is the next date the kiss? i have never been kissed before and so i do not know how the progression of these things will work. but also since our last date he has started to not talk to me all the time as he used to... does this mean something... that he is maybe just nervous.. or is that unusual and it means he might not be interested anymore? (b.t.w. he has had a girlfriend before and i have not had a boyfriend yet.. if that helps with anything..)

My first date with my girlfriend I kissed her hand when dropping her off at her door. Second date, on the cheek and whispered "I had a great time, I'll call you tomorrow" in her ear while I was in the area. Third date, we kissed for real. Not only is it the gentlemanly thing to do, it built up desire for the first kiss on her end. You're guy is just really young and really nervous. He likes you but doesn't know enough of the ways of dating to know what he's doing. Kiss him next time you see him before he's even able to say hi. That'll open the door for you. Good luck puppy.

You sound pretty young if he's so nervous and you haven't been kissed yet. Next time you kiss him and shock him. I think he'll like it. You try to get closer to him. If he's so nervous around you, he obviously likes you a lot and won't push you away.
