lol, who wants to date a hobo?!?!
Not having a job means a lot of things. Like being a lazy ***. No one wants that.

Well HELL NO! Girl if he don't work the F**k with him. Do not waste your time. My opinion if a guy doesn't work 9/10 he wants to mooch off of good woman that do have something going for themselves. So you go on with your standards the right guy will come along that fits them.I got standards too, even at the age of 28.

Uh, no if this guy is 1) dirty 2) has no job and is a leech and 3) shorter than you. Being stuck up means thinking you are better than everyone else. You have standards! Tell these jerks to date him, it seems like THEY want to, lol!

Ask yourself this question. What is more important, my higher standards that I expect from a man or lower my standards to date a guy that calls me stuck up? Now read that to yourself and you will find your answer without me or anyone here telling you the answer you already know. Please Note: Start lowering your standards for a man now and you will find yourself marrying a boy rather than a man and one day after you have children you will find yourself raising more than just your kids. Think about it.

No! By no means are you stuck up. If there's one thing I've learned it's NEVER lower your standards. The second you do, you're bound to get hurt. Never stop believing there is a man out there that fits what you need, want, and most of all, deserve.

Would you go out with him if he was working?
Tell him next time you see him what you think about him not working and your standards and see what he says.
Maybe that will light a fire under his backside and he'll go out and find the cure for cancer?
That might be why those 2 guys are making the suggestions? They want to use you to get their buddy off the couch--could be something like that.

You are not stuck up. Everyone who is able should have a job, or be looking for one. You are right not to drop your standards.

If those are your only standards, no, you are not stuck up.
I'd question the height one, though. If you meet a really great guy who happens to be your height or shorter, give him a chance!

you're not stuck up.it's every girl's criteria (well almost all anyway)... plus, those standards are not impossible missions so why are your guy friends complaining? (unless they are shorter than you, then it's a concern) it's just like guys always want girls to be: slim, big eyes, attractive, at least standard size boobies, long hair, etc... so does that mean every girl needs to go for extreme makeover?

hi,
every girl always has a standard to look for as partner.... but often times, girls do not end up with the guys theyd love to be with...its a failure... why not have a standard list and just go on with the flow..whoever you meet, give them fair chance and see it works...
