Because flirting never was about you, it is about manipulation, control and ego strokes and evidently you responded well so he didn't need you any more. Flirting is really a very selfish thing isn't it. Never does take into consideration how the other person is feeling. Be kind, be friendly but don't ever play in to that flirting business. Mmm
