Per-say a soldier is deployed to fight for ___? If that soldier feels in his heart that he would be fighting a unjustified war, would he then be commiting a sin if he killed for following his higher (physical) ranking?

There is one right religion and all of the other religions are wrong. Anyone that says otherwise hasn't given the question much thought as it deserves. The religion that you place your faith in is up to you but not all of the religions out there can possibly be right. Don't let the Church or Mosque tell you how to think. Just look at the Catholic Church around the time of the reformation. The church officials were totally corrupt and had twisted and reinterpreted Christianity for their own personal gain. At that point in time books had to be copied slowly by hand so there were very few books to go around and for the most part only church officials had access to Bibles. Unfortunately today people still trust others to tell them what the Bible or koran says rather than reading it for themselves even though the books are being mass produced and are easily available throughout the majority of the world. Read whatever religious text that you follow for yourself to determine if what you've done is a sin. Morality isn't determined by humanity. If morality were man's doing then man could justify any and all of his actions. As far as the right religion goes my money is on Christianity. If you have serious doubts about your religion's validity then I suggest you give Non-denominational Christianity a try.

I believe that there are religions that are missing some doctrine but arent necessarily wrong. However i do believe that sin is sin, you just have to know what sinning is. If you are having doubts ask God in a sincere prayer with an open mind (not just looking for the awnser you want).

I don't think there is a right or wrong religious believe in fact I think they all complement each other and they are all right. God knew the diversity that was going to exist in the planet and knew that as a consequence of such diversity we all understand and see things from a different point of view and we enrich the world's culture with our traditions and own ways so that is why He allows us to understand Him in the best way for us.

I am not assigned to Judge. The Almighty will judge. I am confident that He inspired the Scriptures, and thus they are a communication to us regarding what is right and what is wrong. I don't believe you are the final judge. Even if you feel something is right, if the Almighty said it is wrong, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes in the judgment.

Whatever it says about that sin in the bible is right. Denominations are man created. Follow what the bible says because it is the inspired word of God.

They are all subjective. Every day in every religion someone "helps" another in the name of "their" religion. And every day in every religion another "harms" someone in the name of "their" religion. The bane of religion is that it is wasted on mankind. Mankind knows envy, greed, vanity and lust. Therefore religions are doomed to endless debate of truth or falsehood because man can rationalize anything to fit his need. Sadly I am afraid your quesion will only be truly answered upon your mortal departure from this life.

I think morality should be attained outside of religious influence and maybe a better standard can be established . More similar to
the legal system which needs serious review itself.Other wise chaos is the religious platform.

The Bible is The Solid Truth. It never changes, it is always true. No matter what any one believes, the Bible is always right. Religions are all wrong, but a relationship with Christ is right.

Truth is not subjective. We may not be able to conclusively discover truth, but the fact that it exists means there has to be a right and a wrong religion.
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Now that the truth has been revealed, that makes us responsible to believe it.
