Weddings occur at all different times now. It can depend on whether you want a formal reception or not as formal is usually at nigh time. You can also have you ceremony and reception at different times allowing guests to go home and have a rest before coming back for the reseption. You can pick whatever times you want

I think that late afternoon weddings are better because then your guest don't have all that time in between to try and find something to do. And usually when they have the time they end up eating, then its almost as if you spent all that money for the reception food for them not to eat very much. Then its as if all the money goes to waste because you hav eso much left over food!!!

Of course its okay - you can have your wedding anytime you want to! Any wedding after 6:00 p.m. is usually a formal wedding though (the guests really dress up), but can be great fun.

Okay, I wouldn't recommend getting married at 6:00 a.m. in the morning unless you're in Las Vegas.

Of course you can! Mine is going to be at 5 pm, cocktail hour and dinner to follow immediately after the ceremony. I would definitely not get married too early in the morning, or AT mealtime (noon or six) if you think the ceremony is going to be over an hour long.

i think that would be fine. My wedding was at 4:30pm and we had the reception immeditately following.

Any time you want to is fine.

You simply have to follow the correct hosting and attire etiquette for the time of day you have chosen.
