I`m an average weight, 5`4, 117lbs. Green/blue eyes, clear skin. I`ve been told by many people that I was very pretty. I`ve never had a boyfriend before. Is there really something wrong with me?
P.S. I have a soft, Texas drawl that I`ve been hiding at school for years because I got teased about it, but certain words just slip out and I end up blushing like crazy. I look like a tomato. Does my accent and/or blushing turn guys off?

dont hide the accent! becuase what if u find a guy, and you both really like eachother and then one days u become "yourself" and he freaks out? i think accents are really cool. I am a minnesotan ( up here we cant even hear the twangs) but i transferred to washington (near the canadian border) and everyone there laughed sometimes, but now they are chill with it.. you sound extremely pretty! maybe just get yourself out there and be a little more open with a guy you like cuz they might be intimidated by you cuz they think that there is something wrong with themselves

I NEVER had a boyfriend either. I'm 19 1/2 years old! So you are not alone in this situation. I know you are lonely and want to be with someone. So do I. But here is the thing where I live the guys are so blinded by "outer-beauty" or "Hollywood Glam Girls". Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with natural beauty but thats NOT all that makes a person. You Know? Don't worry about your accent, some guys might find that attractive! If they don't like your accent then they aren't into the REAL you! Find someone who likes you for you. Go up to a guy who you think is cute and sweet. (NO JERKS!)Then simply say hi,my name is... what's yours?Remember to smile and be confident. Guys LOVE girls with confidence!! OK? Also if you don't get out much you won't meet ANYONE! honey dont worry about it im 15 and i have the same problem as you except i have a west virginian accent all the guys that have supposedly liked me has used me lies to me and used me 4 sex. im totally jealous of my 14 year old sister she has boyfreinds left and right. i blush all the time some guys think its hot some guys dont notice it and some guys dont like it at all. i hide my accent but it slips out too. noones perfect so if u need me my email is donnittachurch@yahoo.com k?

What's the rush, you're only 15. There are many nice things you can do now, boyfriends and relationships are a big responsability that sometimes end making you feel bad and sad. Enjoy your life now and in a few years you can concentrate on the dating boyfriend thing cause you would have lived more and you would be ready for it.

heck no, a texas drawl is quite a turn on for some guys, me included...
i wouldnt worry about being 15 and never having a boyfriend, nobody has come along to peak your interest in that way yet, or youve got your head into other things too much to worry about boys. they only cause trouble anyway, so i wouldnt give them much though :-p

The accent would be sorta hott if it was me lol but yeah there is nothing wrong with you and no your accent and blushing should not turn guys off. Soo dont worry you will find someone or someone will find you.

Sometimes it has nothing to do with the way you look.
Just wait for the right guy to come a long. When you need one he will be delivered. Some people... date all the time ... the whole life... and other people find maybe one or two people their whole life.
These people aren't ugly. They're just a special kind of people.

My professional 16-year old opinion?- the guys around you just are slow to notice things. You sound like an awesome girl and i see no reason for them not to be after you. Also, when a girl blushes its cute... like SUPER cute in fact. Just hang on- it could be your so pretty that they are intimidated by you...

hi. im 15 too and i get down with all my friends having bfs and stuff. but guess what? my friends and their boyfriends ALWAYS break up, because if you think about it, whats going to come of a highschool relationship? just keep ure head up high and think, the guys will come. its true. they will. most of them havent even thought about relationships... its just too advanced for them. and p.s. i blush too and as far as i know, it doesn't turn guys off.
