What exactly is the lemonade diet? Do you just mix lemons, cayenne pepper and some maple syrup with water and drink it? How many a day are you supposed to drink?

The lemonade diet is actually the Master Cleanser. It was written by Stanley Burroughs in 1976. It works great if you follow his original plan exactly to the letter. The recipe for the mix is 8oz of water with 2 TB of FRESH SQUEEZED ONLY lemon juice, 2 TB of grade B organic maple syrup, and 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper.
You're supposed to drink a minimum of 6-12 glasses per day, twice or more that of water, and NOTHING ELSE. There are other very important steps such as the daily elimination with saltwater (you drink it).
The problem with this diet is that people do it wrong so it doesn't work and they get misconceptions about it. It DOES work but only if you do it right. People try to do it but they cheat, and it doesn't work....
(It's the diet Beyonce did but she stopped the diet wrong and she got sick)

The Lemonade Diet has actually been around for a long time (since the 1960’s), but it really didn’t get a lot of public recognition until a few years back when Beyonce used it. Beyonce claimed that she lost about 20 pounds from the Lemonade diet, right before she filmed the movie Dreamgirls. Since then, many people (from celebrities to the masses) have tried it out to see if it would work

lemonade has a lot of acid in it.. you'll wear down the enamel on your teeth.. I drank a lot of lemonade awhile ago and my dentist noticed a difference, so now I never drink lemonade..
