I'm sorry, but it's basic....you have to use more calories than you take in. Until you do, you won't lose weight. Yes, I had a weight problem. I no longer do.

Eat good food...not junk. Concentrate on lean protein and vegetables at first. Gradually , add back some complex carbs like wholegrain bread or brown rice. Eat good food, exercise (brisk walking is great exercise) and you WILL see results.

Good luck!

be realistic... don't all of a sudden start trying to eat good and excercise at the same time. You will burn yourself out. make lifesyle changes. Go for a short walk after school or work. Eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal. Slowly work up to working out a few days a week. I had never tried and weight loss plan before and I joined weight watchers almost 2 years ago and have lost 50 lbs. It teaches you to be reasonable and if you actually do what it suggests, you will lose weight. Don't expect miracles over nite and don't get frustrated if you don't lose a bunch right away. The best thing is to be healthy.

A proper diet is the best way to lose weight naturally and keep it off. You have to eat a varied adequate and balanced diet. Your body needs all kinds of food to function properly including fat in smaller quantities though. Your body needs the nutrients and vitamins in fruits and vegetables the most, that is what you should eat the most of (at least 5 servings a day). You also need protein, and a little fat. Reduce your intake of sweets, fried food and foods that contain a lot of fat. Don't drink too many alcoholic beverages or soft drinks (they have a lot of calories). Don't go to sleep right after you eat. And finally exercise at least 3 to 4 days a week for about 45 minutes.Good luck. You can also get more information about nutrition from this site:

Hi! I read your question, and I have something that I know would really help you out. I recently started a total health and wellness system, which cleanses the body of harmful toxins and nourishes it with meal replacement shakes which taste awesome. I dropped 30 pounds of fat in only 6 weeks, been having a ton more energy and lots of other great effects of a healthy body. I'd be glad to direct you to more information if you'd like. Once you learn about this system, you'll see how it is perfect for achieving your goals. I hope I can help! Thanks,

Aaron

Usually whenever I want to drop some pounds I stick with foods like chicken, tuna, grilled veggies, salad, and apples. I always have crystal light handy. For exersise, I do about 30 min cardio Minimum 4-5 times a week. Try to have one (dont exaggerate but eat what you really like in moderation) "junk food" day cause without those I would die! If I absolutly need a snack, I love the special-k cerial bars.
Someone also told me you should leave the table feeling satisified, but never stuffed.
STAY AWAY FROM BREAD! ( Its always my undoing...)
overall, just eat light and always try to get in as much exercise as possible.
Hope this helped!
good luck!

There is only one answer. Eat healthy foods, mostly raw fruit & veggies, and work out a lot (2-3 hours a day 6 days a week) Nothing else is going to work. You can waste your life trying to find the magic pill or diet if you want, or you can do it properly and it will work. I regret the decades I wasted looking for the easy answer, but go ahead if you want, its your choice .
