I'm 16 too, and I think it's totally normal. Think about it, the celebrities we are infactuated with are guys who are around that age, like Brad Pitt. Nothing wrong with being attracted to a guy so much like you are, us girls can't help it and sometimes we just have major infactuation ways about us. Don't let it bother ya. It's normal.

I was watching this TV interview once and it was about this girl, which was about ur age, that was infatuated with her teacher and she acted upon her feelings. She found that the teacher felt the same. They kept their relationship a secret for months before someone found out. He was currently married at the time but then left his family, got another job after being fired and got married to this girl shortly before moving in together. So thats a possible outcome if u try something on him lol. Its just a phase and youll get over it so just be patient and u will find that ur feelings for him will eventually fade!

Yes, in fact its quite common for students to become infatuated with their teachers. The difficulty comes if you act on it. A sure recipe for disaster. No ethical teacher will become romantically involved with a student.

The same types of infatuations happen between doctors and patients, nurses and patients, rescuers and the people they save, etc. You need to see it for what it is and let it pass. By your tenth high school reunion you'll be saying, "Can you believe I had a crush on Mr. ????, when I was sixteen?"

Infatuation: an emotional state characterized by intense desire, often romantic in nature.
Infatuations are superficial feelings that will fade in time, and as long as you don't act on them i think it's OK....By the way, I don't think it's weird. You are probobly just not use to these kinds of feelings.

It happens all the time, to both sexes; there are even songs about it."Hot for Teacher", by Van Halen, is about just that phenomenon, from a guy's point of view.

It's perfectly normal to have fantasies and crushes at your age. It would be wrong to try and act on them with a teacher. It would be damaging and embarrassing to both of you.

well...u have to keep in mind that he probably has a girl. and if he doesn't, then i dont think he wants a high school girl. talk 2 him, and tell him, maybe he can clear some things out for you. but tell him its another teacher u like and u trust him enough to tell him, just 2 see wut he would say about u and a teacher. good luck
