Gatorate isn't going to hurt you if you drink it without being active. The reason they market it for athletes is that it replaces electrolytes lost during physical exertion & sweating. Truthfully, though, you're better off just drinking water.

No, you don't have to be physically active to drink Gatorade. It's good for you, it replenishes you when you're dehydrated, and it's a good drink over soda, which has all that sugar and carbs in it.If you don't like Gatorade, try Powerade, even though they're the same thing to me.They have Water Gatorade also, called Repel, someting like that, if you're not entirely sure about drinking gatorade.

Gatorade merely has particularly some sugar and sodium which you do not want in case you at the instant are not figuring out for longer than an hour. it is merely greater useful to drink water till you easily want the greater suitable sugar and sodium. even with the undeniable fact that, Gatorade won't be undesirable for you whilst in comparison with sodas and another beverages. Water is merely greater useful for you till you're very energetic.

If you don't suffer from high blood pressure and your kidneys are normal, then you don't have anything to worry about. It does, however, contain alot of sugar as well.

I drink Gatorade whenever I get the flu or a cold. It seems to help prevent dehydration during those times.

From what I understand, Gatorade has a lot of carbohydrates in it. If you're not going to burn it off, those carbs will just turn to sugar which will turn to fat. I don't think you should drink too much if you're not being physically active.

I've heard that Gatorade destroys your teeth more than anything else.. it seeps between the pores in the teeth and destroys the enamel a lot faster than sugar can do it..
