I am not trying to get rid of her. She's one of the best things to happen to me and I just want to be sure that she's happy. I plan on going with her also.

Color Me Mine Studios- it's a pottery shop where you paint the ceramic there, and they fire and glaze it for you.

Anything athletic.
Babysitting classes?

Putting her in dance may be a very good idea. Ask her if she would like that and what kind of dance she would like to do (many to do, ballet, hip-hop, tumble, etc.). Call around to dance places and ask if you can have a walk-in so that way you and your daughter can see if that's what you both would want to do for her. You could also try an art club or sports. See what your daughter has interests in. Whether in music, sports, dance, or art. Then your daughter will have something to do and not be so bored.

I don't know what is available where you live, but maybe she would like a sport, like softball, volleyball,or tennis.I have a six year old niece and she is hard to entertain except when her and I do art or get crafty. Everyone is creative in some way or has a talent. You may have to try alot of things before she finds something that she really likes.

Is she an only child? I know you said you wanted to do this with her but, if she is an only child, this will be a great way to help her, do you have a local boys and girls club near you? and no, it's NOT just for troubled kids. My lill guy had to start going their when i was working past school hours, he built so many great friendships, was gettin kinda bored w/ seeing the same faces from school. This way he had all new friends to hang with, and still kept the buddies from school. Plus , they have soooo many wounderful activties the child will do, plus, most will have things jsut for " girls" ...... just a suggestion. I hope this may help. Good luck

Duct tape and a closet? Just kidding...you might try organized sports such as soccer, sports can help not only keep her healthy but team sports help teach kids important social skills and the harder lessons about winning and losing. If she's not into soccer then how about gymnastics or a bowling league. If not that then she might like to volunteer at a local animal shelter, you could do it with her and make it a bonding experience, she could help you walk dogs or clean out their cages.

Brownies.
Gymnastics.
Dancing.
Art class.
Swimming.
Drama.
Bowling.
Soccer.
Hockey.
Baseball.

Take her to the local library, community center, park.
Have her invite some friends from school over for a slumber party.
Ask her classmates what they do on the weekends - you may get a lead on something she can join.
Look in your phone book .
Put up flyers in your neighbourhood or talk to your neighbours about getting the kids out to the park for a soccer/football/baseball/tag game on Saturday afternoons (weather permitting).
Ask her what she'd be interested in doing/learning and go from there.

Good luck!

Try joining the girlscouts/brownies. That is really a good place to learn and meet girls her own age. The organization builds character!

You could try gymnastics or something sporty like that. There are all kinds of clubs to join if she's not into sports. You can look in the newspaper or the yellow pages.

Girl Scouts, my daughter is busy at least one weekend a month with them. You know that age is tough though cause you basically have to make the play dates for them. Ask her who she is friends with at school. Have her ask them if they would want to come over sometime. You have to give her a push.

Girl scouts, music lessons, sports, art classes

Ask her what she is interested in and try different classes. Some places will offer a free class or session for your daughter to try out before you sign up or pay offically.
