what's the number you can dial before a long distance to make it cost less?

Most calling cards have cheap rates, BUT a signigicant CONNECT charge for each call!!!! That is why I buy AT&T calling cards. Depending on the value you buy, you can make calls for around 3 cents a minute..WITH NO CONNECT CHARGE!!!! (That connect charge is what kills you on most calling cards!!)

10-10-228 for 1.9c/min 39cent per call connect charge. Don't have to sign up for anything like that Tel3 spam.

Well I thought we were talking about numbers to dial before as in 10-10 numbers. If you want a calling card, you can get 1.5c/min, 1 minute rounding, no other fees with the Aquarius card from http://www.speedypin.com
If you make a few really long calls, they have one that's 0.6c/min with a 20 cent connect fee and 79 cents per week fee on the Libra prepaid card.

Try phone cards. No contracts and u pay what you use.

Go for Clean cards without fees.

to get the cheapest calls i suggest u buy a cheap phone card
prices start from as low as 0.1c/min plus connection fee
