i am going on holiday, where can i leave my dog in london area?how much is it?

Look up local boarding kennels,I think they charge something like £8.00 per day,the dog has to have recent vaccinations,kennel cough vaccine and be recently wormed,

I agree look up Boarding Kennels in Yellow Pages but last time I used one, 15 years ago, it was £15 a day, that was in North West but I would think it would be more in London than up here. Innoculations are a must, they aren't allowed to board your dog without the certificate. There are firms who do house and dog sitting, it may be worth trying one of those. Get a copy of one of the dog papers or magazine to find one of the sitting services.

If you're unable to find any local boarding kennels, how about asking a friend or family member to temporarily house and take care of your dog?

I have always asked someone to stay at the house. Usually my kids' babysitter. College students are usually willing, too. They keep the dog happier because while he is missing you, at least he has his own bed and home.
