I not sure about the City. But, State statistics say about 100,000 per year die to cancer. It the second leading cause of death next to Heart Disease.

I believe Long Island has the highest cancer rates in the state of New York.

You know something I don't know. but i am afraid it will grow unimaginably do to 9-11 and all the asbestos that went up in the air and not only there, surrounding areas. Asbestos was used in the wtc, and am almost 100% sure of that.
