It would be a good idea to arrive at least an hour early to pinpoint the parade field, where you need to park, where his actual battalion is, etc. Once you arrive at Sand Hill (Ft. Benning's Infantry Training Brigade and Basic Combat Training Brigade) make sure you have proper I.D. and make sure your vehicle documents (insurance, registration, etc.) are current, as you may be inspected at the Entry Control Point. If you are taking a cab, say from the airport, all you'll need is ID. You will definitely have a chance to see him after the ceremony, but probably not before.

The others gave you very sound advise now like Paul Harvey ,here comes -THE REST OF THE STORY (wink wink) Now you said "SADLY" maybe for the first minute or 2 after he is released but after he gets his arms around you "MOMMY AND DADDY" are the LAST thing on a horney soldiers mind ,I PROMISE YOU!!! These "TRAINED KILLERS" have gone without wine women and song for a while and baby we make up for it in those first 8 hours (right now I am laughing so hard I can't see straight!!) If you keep a list of "ACTIVITIES" you either want to try or REFUSE to try you better keep it handy cause i KNOW he has a list and you guys might need to compare lists-LOL!!!!

About an hour and a half - make certain you leave time for clearances at the gate.

Just look for his unit, like his mailing address and it will detail "graduation" for you to review.

Congrats!
