Theres guy this,Jeff,that ive liked for quite a while that i work with.well for awhile he was off from work because he was gonna go to colorado but it was postponed and now hes back,before he left he told me i had pretty eyes,and we got to know one another.Now thats hes back,i think i just wanna hangout with him.I tried getting to know him but its hard when i work with him and theres people around us and we like to talk when we're alone or noone can really hear us.Today,he gave me a ride home because a co-worker told jeff that i wanted a ride home and he was like,so u wanna ride home? and i said yeah so like later on,we went in his moms truck that he borrowed and i was like,so when do u wanna hang out? and he said whenever,but the problem is that he will have no money to hangout with because he has none from not going to colorado and just staying home and not coming back till now but if we go out i gotta pay for it,woudl that b right? or should he pay for it? he pays rent with all his

checks and its understandable i guess that hes gotten no money for us hanging out but like,if i say that me and jeff are "hanging out" with money,isnt that a date? idk though but im confused,anyways,if i pay for this date or hangout,do u think he'll use me and do u think that he'll pay if we ever go out again?? and do u think he likes me since he said that i got pretty eyes,and today i was cleaning part of the slicer and he told me that he liked the way i cleaned it,hes weird but i still like him,hes a sweet guy.

It sounds like you really like him so just ask him out and if he gives you the ol "I don't have any money" than tell him not to worry about it. You don't have to go anywhere expensive and if you hit it off than you guys will find a way to hang out inexpensively. As long as he doesn't make you feel obligated to pay for stuff, don't let it bother you.
Money is nothing, don't let it get in the way of making yourself happy. Also, don't let the fact that he is a co-worker bother you either (if it does). If you hit it off and feel that it becomes a problem tham one of you can find a new job.

I think you should definetly hangout with him even if you have to pay. If you notice him starting to take advantage of you, then you can walk away; but you never know what it will turn into and you definetly want to seize the oppurtunity. (And if you are nervous about paying, don't be...in my opinion, it's not that big of a deal if the woman has to pay.)

PROBLEMS
both of you and him work in the same company- rumours good and bad. Employer finds out will asks one or both of you to leave the company
No money and he is working, paid rent. do you want to pay for all the time everytime you go out?
I have rent,food and support pay and I am dating- I paid for dinner and she paid for the movie(two for one). this called go "DUTCH"
If he can't pay for at least a cup of coffee/tea and donut/muffin, you might have problems later

Don't date co-workers and don't look to the internet for sympathy for your problems. Build some good personal relationships..aka..get some friends to talk with about these things.

I think you should pay since well I think he likes you to!!!!!!!!!! Tell him to pay next time. If he says OH Man I Forgot to bring my money. Guess your paying. That means he IS using you. If he says something similar that is still the same. But be really careful!!!

i would not date someone that u are working with and its ok that u pay for it maybe he well pay for the next date when he gets money. but still i would not go out with some one u work with

Sweetie, it's like this. If a guy hands you excuses for why he cannot pay for your first date, that should be a preview to you as to what this guy is like. Cheap! or a user of women. Naive women. Forget him. There's another bus load of guys in ten minutes!!!!

If you want to go out and talk go out for a soda or coffee. It will not cost alot and you can sit and talk.
