No, I keep mine in my pantry, not in the fridge (in El Paso, TX). Just go to any restaurant and you'll see that they keep their Tabasco and other chile sauces at room temperature too.

On Tabasco.com and it says the shelf life is 5 YEARS when
stored in a cool, dry place (ie: the pantry or cupboard). You can also email them with any questions you have.

Mine won't ever last that long because I go through a bottle every 2 - 3 weeks (love that hot sauce!)

No need. There is enough sodium and vinegar in that mess to keep it from spoiling 50 years from now.

So good going down.

No, it's just vinegar and spices. It doesn't need to be refrigerated.

I never have.

If you notice, most restaurants that carry it keep it right on the guests' tables - - - ketchup & mustard, too, are keep out on the tables.

I wouldn't put it in the fridge if it didn't say that you need to, but if you already did, then continue to put it in the fridge.
