Well, realistically, it won't go UP a cent.
Since you didn't have any insurance before, there is nothing to compare it to... so the price they quote will be the lowest you have had.
BUT.. if you want to compare it to someone else like yourself but who has NOT had his license suspended.. my guess is that it is going to be higher by more then a bit.
Either way.. if you want to drive and not be worried about spending time in jail and meeting new friends named Bubba...insurance is pretty much necessary.

insurance goes up in an accident for at least one of these reasons:
1. a claim is filed
2. a traffic violation was issued
since the first doesn't apply to you, all you have to worry about is your driving record with the dmv. if the accident was reported but you didn't get a ticket, the accident isn't reported to the dmv, so it doesn't matter. ithe insurance companies don't scan public records for police reports.

it's not exactly that it will go up but that it'll be very high in the first place because you did not have previous insurance and because of your accident and any other factors like being male and single or whatever applies.
