Switch to dark chocolate- it's much better for you. This way you won't feel like you are giving it up completely; just make sure you don't eat more than a bar a day.

Decrease your eating of choclate each day like say u eat 5 candy bars a day the next decrease it by 4, then , 4 1/2, the 3 then 3 1/2 etc.... until you get to the end of none. Its okasy to have a little once in a while but too much can make u very sick!

You are correct. There is not much you can do but from your own will power. You can not buy any and try saving all of your money from chocolate for a special gift for yourself; go cold turkey; allow yourself chocolate after each meal only; allow yourself chocolate only once a day; allow yourself chocolate only after losing 5 lbs. or 10 lbs.; keep a mirror in each room to see yourself not eating chocolate and so forth.

Anything you enjoy takes will power to break. It takes 28 days to make a habit and 28 days to break the habit. Being human most of us cannot make it to the 28th day. Do not fret....I am a popcornholic. I feel for you and fully understand!!

Good Luck! :)

You gotta get clean man.
My uncle was stealin' all our stuff and pawning it to buy chocolate.
He started out with Hershey kisses.
Then he went to Hershey bars with almonds and later Dove chocolate.
Eventually he was messed up on 4 or 6 Ghirardeli Chocolate bars a day or sometimes he'd use Godiva straight from the box.

Talk to your social worker.
See if there is a methadone clinic nearby.

Try not to eat it when you are super hungry. Fill up on good food like salad's and fruits. If you like chocolate so much don't have it in the house so that you won't be tempted to eat it so much.

cut it out of your diet 100% -no cheating- because if, say, you don't eat any for a month, and then you eat a chocolate chip cookie, it all comes back.
