ok. i dont know if its just me, but it seems like there is 0 point in getting married. i know im young, but it seems it's like this:
1. boy meets girl
2. boy dates girl
3. boy and girl fall in love
4. boy and girl marry
5. boy and girl have kids
6. boy and girl stop having sex
7. boy becomes bored
8. boy cheats on girl or resorts to porn
it just seems like as woman get older and lose their looks, guys have to find other way to.. erm... amuse themselves. it seems like.. other than to have kids, and experiencing love, guys are ultimately superficial and focused on looks. so... whats the point in getting married. even if they do appreciate your other qualities, guys seem to always be tempted by something younger and better.
im just basing this on real relationships ive seen around me.

You're right — there is no point to marriage. Now that neither men nor women are dependent on each other for fulfillment, marriage has essentially become obsolete. We can do anything we want without each other.

I'm so sorry that you think that's how relationships go.
I take it your parents don't have a good marriage.....children want and expect what they grow up with.
It totally depends on the couple and lots of marriages are happy....no porn...no being bored.
I can honestly say in over 30 years I have never, ever been bored....and he doesn't look at porn. LOL
Every couple is different....don't make a life-decision now you're still young.

Not every marriage turns out this way. I think people just into marriage too fast or for the wrong reasons, and that's where the trouble starts. I also don't think that marriage is for everyone, but that's for each person to decide on their own.

some people stay in love forever. it is not always the boy becoming bored nor is it always the boy that cheats or resorts to porn. the reasons sex becomes infrequent or stops is many. you don't get married if you don't want to, it is as simple as that.

The point of getting married it to show taht devotion to the other person. i know there are a ton of divorces now days, but those that last are amazing relationships. there is a song built to last, go listen to it its country. amazing

With maturity, you'll have a better understanding of relationships and see that your scenario isn't how it typically goes...and even if divorce occurs, that doesn't mean it wasn't worth getting married...

ur real life experiances suck- maybe if you both really loved eachother and COMUNICATE well with eachother then u can TALK about anything and everything...including how to keep things exciting in bed!
