Redneck is a slang saying for an uneducated person who grew up in a rural area. Jeff Foxworthy has made a carrier out of doing "I might be a Redneck if..." With that comedy routine he has shown that there is a little bit or redneck in all of us.

as defined by Jeff Foxworthy " a redneck is a person with a glorious lack of sophistication " in general a redneck tends to be a person who works long hard days and has very little to show for it. Many people confuse rednecks with white trash but white trash doesn't work hard and has even less to show for it. for example a redneck has a beat up old pick up that he drives to the job site everyday and it is paid for. ... white trash may have an identical truck but he pawned the title the day he paid it off and used the money to buy a 50 dollar tool box at a flea market and a dime bag of weed. now he parks it two blocks away behind his cousin's trailer so the repo man doesn't find it.... i hope this helps answer your question

1st of all do a spell check on how to spell Michigan. then for your answer no, its not a Michigan farmer. a redneck is from the south kinda like white trash... an example of is .... you might be a redneck if your house has wheels but none of the cars in your yard do. look up Jeff foxworthy for more examples of what is a redneck.
