Should I be concerned about this guy? Is this stalking?

I work out at this gym ..and me and one of the employees there i guess became friends, he would always stop and say hello, he even asked me about my holidays, and I always felt like he might have been flirting with me to a certain extent...but anyhow,I called him, in which I did, and he told me that he would like to be my friend,like hang out and go to a movie, and he also invited me to bible study class that he conducts...so everythang seemed okay..but yesterday..he comes up to me and aks me..if it was true that I several pervious accounts with the gym...and it made me feel bad because I do..and I think it sort of makes me look bad that I have accounts there, and I said yeah, but what struck me is the fact that when I asked him how did he find out, he was stuttering, and said the other day when my gym card was acting up..someone told him about it,....but I remember he wasn't even there that day, so is this something I should be concerned about him snooping around..and should I feel ba

plus...he told me that if anyone messes with me at the gym..tell him and he would take care of them for me...I'm looking like what the hell...

that's the thing it's not a part of his job..

Sounds like he was being a bit too nosy. Just put some distance between you and let things cool down.
If he persist say to him " You were a bit too nosy. You don't appreciate it."
If he apologizes for it, then just forget it.
If he gets a little testy or defensive about it go straight to the manager and report him.
It was a bit invasive about it. He may have information like your home address & number. If you feel creeped out about it don't wait and go to the manager. This guy did overstep his bounders.

I would be concerned. Have you thought about asking other employees of the gym about this guy? Or even going to the manager? This is kind of weird. If it makes you uncomfortable, I would definately let someone in the gym know.

Here is a advice - Be just a ordinary friend at Gym.Stop going anything further ie movie, drink, chit chat, etc..keep a distance.

Be nature & act normally.

This sounds like big trouble! I fear for your safety! You have 2 choices. Don`t go back or go to the management and tell them what is happening. The same thing could be happening to other members.

hi Rachel! a million of ur co-workers must have given him ur no. If he starts again,tell ur manager about the entire aspect! i think ur looking into it to much. He definately isnt stalking you. he just wants to know more about the person he is thinking of dating.

unless u like him, u shouldnt be bothered at all. if u feel like he's stalking u, and he's not ur type.. then by all means, make feelers that you're not interested.
