I just refinanced my car with citibank....what specifically are you hearing about them?
I have done my personal banking with Citibank for over 8 years and my only complaint about THAT is whenever you call customer service you get someone in Bombay! So I never call customer service.
My experience with my refi has been very pleasant and I have found everyone I've spoken with to be very helpful. Unless you have a problem with them on your own, I wouldn't pay much attention to the bad press....you don't know what problems other people have had, specifically if it's a problem THEY (not citibank) created and they didn't like the consequences.

A great idea is to source a loan for consolidation a personal loan, repay credit cards or any other debt by going online. The companies are in a competitive market at the moment and are offering soem great deals to fulfill your situation.

It depends what you mean by a "bad company". They are a big company, that's for sure. And being so big, most of their processes & procedures are reliable - meaning its not like you are going to get taken per se. Perhaps things like their customer service stinks or they aren't looking out for the little guy...a lot of times stuff like that happens with the big folks. Me, personally, I'd prefer to stick with the big companies. I have my home loan through Citibank and a couple of miscellaneous mini-loans (through stores - one is furniture store, for example). I have never had a problem.

I have a credit card through Citi and have not experienced any problems. If you haven't had any problems, then I wouldn't worry about it.

you already have the loan?
are you finding them okey?
why listen to others if your experience is good?
some people are jealous (for lack of another word)
good luck and enjoy
