ahah that depends on how you're going to eat them! apple pie is always good, and apple cookies are delicious, and bananas..hm, banana bread is so yummy, and a peanut butter banana sandwhich is also really good. but if you're looking at health, then both are essential because bananas have a lot of potassium and apples have fiber. but i think by themselves as fresh fruit, i like bananas better !

It depends on what you're interested in. Apples are good for cooking--besides pies....you can use them in all sorts of excellent savory dishes: add them to salads, or use them in curries or soups. Bananas are good in oatmeal or banana nut bread--very tasty, but not quite so versatile.

Bananas win, though, if you're looking for nutrition. They have slightly more calories, but twice as much vitamin C, four times the potassium, 1.5 g of protein per cup where apples have negligible protein, and a cup of banana has almost half your vitamin B-6 where apples have almost none. You get 3.5 g of fiber in a cup of either, though, so eat up--fruit is good for you!

Apples they are sweet and juicy where as bananas they are slimy and look like they have spider legs in them.

I love bananas! They are soft and don`t make my gums bleed when i eat them, like apples do....
