to date again? This guy I dated broke up with me in just one week and we have been talking like we are friends, even though he says that he wants to be friends. We had a 3 hour online conversation and all of the sudden he wouldnt answer my messages. I asked him what he was doing, he said that he was just thinking about the fun we had together. I asked him what he meant by it and all he said was that he didnt know and he was too tired to think. Then he said he was tired and had to go. Is he trying to see if I like him still or does he still like me? I really dont understand this at all!

well usually that means that he still likes u and that yes he does want to get back together with u. sometimes he might be thinkin bout all the fun and he will miss u but he realizes that he blew it and he won't have u again so hes upset about. maybe you should ask him how he feels. do u want to go back out with him?? u two should talk it over and see how u both feel. maybe u both wanna get back together i dun no. i say ur best best is talkin it over with him. i hope everything works out for u!!!!

I think he's as confused as you are. I think he remembers how great you are, and that he regrets breaking up with you, but doesn't think you two would be able to get back together. If you still have feelings for him, and would be willing to give it another shot, ask him if he would like to get back together with you. He might be afraid that he made a mistake and lost you for good. He might think he doesn't have a shot with you because he missed his first shot. If you like him, let him know that he didn't lose his shot. If you don't want to get back together with him, let him know gently and kindly.

I think you may be overanalyzing. If he said he was tired, he probably was. Pull back a little bit and give him a chance to find you again. And he will, if you two are meant to get back together. If he doesn't, then oh well, his loss!

If he broke it off with you in just one week, then sounds like he is just stringing you along. Maybe he doesn't know what he wants either. Stay away from men that don't know what they want....will be a waste of time & energy unless you like that sort of emotional roller coaster.

I think he is trying to let you down gently. He probably does care about you - but doesn't know how to tell you that he wants to limit contact. I was in that situation before - it was hard when we finally cut off all contact. A year later I'm finally over it.
