Hi, I am in a sticky situation. My fiance, my daughter and I decided to rent two rooms in the home of one of my fiance's friends. About 3 months into living there we discovered some shocking footage of child pornography on a dvd. It had obviously been taken off of the computer. I was forced to have my daughter move in with her grandma, since our finances are not as of yet allowing us to move out. I am soon going to be leaving, to live somewhere else with my daughter. My question is, how do I turn him in? I would rather it be anonymous. I also dont want to get into any trouble, but feel that something has to be done. Any advice?

Get out! The problem will be that the police will need something to go on to get the search warrant. See if your state has a "Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program" I highly doubt anyone would get YOU into trouble over this. It's not your fault. It will only be your fault if you fail to do anything about it. Those people start small with photos and work to actually touching children.

I understand that you want to be anonymous but you will most likely have to reveal your identity to the police. You might be all they have to go on to get a search warrant.

Thank god you got your child out of there.

Just call the police, explain the situation, and they can take it from there......But you absolutley have to do something..Imagine the "trouble" you would be in if this person acts on his fantasies and a child is ruined for life, It kind of makes you an accomplice in a way. I know I have read about people who were pedophiles and the people in the house with them got in trouble because they did not come forward.

this relies upon on some issues. the guy taking the picture should be the only it truly is punished, not inevitably the guy that sends the picture. there has been situations the position childrens take images of alternative childrens in locker rooms without the guy understanding it. the youngsters then sends the images to anybody. i'm sorry, yet in situations like this, sure the youngster should be punished or perhaps sign in as a sex criminal. If my childrens were sending nude images, they could recognize what "bread and water" skill, they could get their a** beat, even if it replaced into of them or some different person, and they does not have a telephone anymore (per chance between the kiddie phones that ought to in effortless words call 2-3 numbers).

You need to call the police and turn him in. Of course this person is going to get in trouble, they have child porn!!! You need to stand up and do something before it goes to the next level if it hasn't already. I know you don't want to get in trouble, I wouldn't want to either. Maybe you can call the police anonymously and tip them off.

After you are gone (and soon I hope) call the police..but keep in mind if you had access to the computer he could just say it was you or your b/f that did it. Be prepared to stand up for yourself and let them know it was his stuff. If you had to let your child move in with their Grandma this is definatly not a safe place for anyone to be living..get out now!

Take it to the police, who cares if you are anonymous or not when it comes to child pornography, I wouldn't care if I was posted all over the news for handing it into the police. You are saving a child!!!!!!!!!!! That's all that should matter, not whether you remain anonymous or not!!!!!!!!!

You are a MOTHER. Turn him IN. You can do it anonymously, put your fears aside. This is much more important than your fears and remember all the other kids out there...good thinking getting your daughter out.

-Do you feel he is producing this filth or is it that you found one dvd, that might have been a commercially bought one?
-If you are worried that he might be a molester, that is another serious matter.
-If you are certain of serious involvement, then you need to tell somebody in authority, If you are not then you could write an anonymous letter to the police in his town, and alert them to want you found. Then it is upto them to decide what to do with your info.

Have u told ur fiance? What did he say? If I were u, I'd call the police and also children services... I have been in adoption/foster classes. They wont give ur name!! He needs to be turned in, and on record! It's hard saying what else he might have in his home...

u probably wont get in trouble with the police if u turn it in. i mean, it was there when u got there, right? just call the police and say there is a porno video in the house. if they ask for your name, just say u would prefer to remain anonymous
