Even though you didn't ask for it, I shall tell you my super secret recipe for THE best chocolate milkshake of all time.
The proportions should be (by mass) half milk and half ice cream. The milk should be whole milk. The ice cream should be chocolate.
You will also need some Nestle's Quick (no Hershey's products allowed), and some malt (you know, for making malted milk. You'll find it in the cocoa and tea aisle.). Judge the amount of these items to your taste.
All of these things go into the blender, of course, BUT...here's the secret... the milk must be just barely cool, almost room temperature!
This will create a milkshake with plenty of body, but no annoying ice crystals, and a foamy rich head!

Stewarts!!! You know what is really good is a Mint chocolate chip milk shake with strawberry syrup. Try some sometime. Ask them to squirt a little strawberry in your chocolate shake.
