It depends on how you define "o.k.". Is it legally okay? Yeah. Is it morally okay? Yeah. Is it socially okay? Sometimes. Is it okay within the family? Well, sometimes. Is it okay with everyone on planet earth? No way. Does the racial mix affect how "okay" it is? Definitely. There's a whole bunch of specifics one needs to consider before asking that question. It may sound easy to answer, with the "automatic" or popular right and wrong ways to answer, but when you get down to realistic, every day issues, well then, the question becomes MUCH bigger and the mature answering becomes much more complicated. God Bless you.

I don't know how old you are .That matters because there may be pressure from family, friends.
If you are of age,18 or older and feel you like the person you date or want to,there is nothing wrong with dating someone who is of another race.
It is that person .It doesn't matter what color or where they or their ancesters came from .We are all individuaals

Yes...just because you date, does not mean you are making a life long commitment. What's wrong with meeting new people and learning about different cultures? You may just meet the person of your dreams!

Race is a very big issue. Personally i dont care, but i have 2 mixed kids and i only date black guys. 85% of ppl in my town are interracial couples. Ive heard its really dissapproved of in the south. Im up north in ohio and no one seems to care here. u have your haters here and there, but it dont matter what other people think. u dont need anyones approval for nothin, u live your life not them, so if its ok for u then its ok!

It is fine. My son in his 20's couldn't believe that it was illegal in the 60's to marry someone of a different race. I think the younger generation is more accepting.

I think that there isn't anything wrong with that. Who are we to judge 2 people falling in love, or just spending time together? I think if you find someone, no matter what their race, gender, religion, that you care to spend time with, its no one elses business. With all the hate and discontent in this world, who are we to judge two people for falling in love? Just be happy, be true to yourself, and thats what matters, not the rest of us.

I have grown up in a racist family so I have trouble looking at white person and a black person together. I don't think it's wrong but I couldn't do it because of the way I have been brought up.
