Morning, gravity puts pressure on the cartilage discs between the vertebrae in your spinal column, compressing and "shrinking" them a little, therefore making your shorter at night.

Thanks to gravity, you are taller in the morning, but not by much. Gravity pulls you down and compresses the spinal column. After a night of lying down your column relaxes. If you want greater height, take an extended space trip. Minimal gravity will allow even more expansion of the spinal column.

Actually, you will be just a slight but taller in the morning due to your spine being horizontal and relaxed. Once you stand, it will quickly compress under gravity and resort back to your normal height.

In the morning you are taller. This is because lying down all night long helps the spine to realign itself, as soon as you stand from bed, moments after you shrink back down again

In the morning. The pressuer from being upright all day compress the "spongy stuff" in your spine so you aren't as tall by the end of the day.
