does anyone know any where to have an outdoor wedding for cheap in Texas. We do not want a church wedding but we are also on a strict bugdet. We are looking for something under $400. I am located about 80 miles north east of Dallas in Sulphur springs. Other cities near are greenville, winnsboro, tyler or mt vernon.

my friend, also on tight budget, just got married at Chandor Gardens in weatherford. Very Nice!

Have you tried the lakes that are close by? They may have a recreation/pavilion area that you could use for the afternoon. If you are having a small wedding, you could possibly have your family provide the refreshments. Maybe along the lines of an old fashion country family wedding? It would really depend on what your tastes are.

Try your city hall. Some are willing to rent rooms inexpensively and you can decorate them nicely on the cheap by going to a craft store. Other places to check - local churches with halls to rent and Elks clubs.
