1080p. That is the full spectrum of uncompressed HD signal. Also look for a 6000:1 contrast ratio for striking color enhancement. DLP is nice, but I feel that it makes the screen shimmer. The DNIe (Digital Natural Image Engine) feature from Samsung is awesome. So, 1080p (DNIe or DLP or both) with a 6000:1 contrast ratio is perfect. Try this one:

Tough question to answer because each technology has its advantages and disadvantages. To answer in short, if you're looking for a 37" or smaller hdtv go with a LCD tv. For a 37" or larger set go with DLP or Plasma.

Plasma is the way to go. 720p or 1080p depending on what you are watching.
