What I write may sound a little sordid, in real life, it really wasn't, but I hope my experiences will help you make a more informed decision.

I think that depends on what your expectations of the whole experience are!!

If it is a casual thing, where it is agreed from both sides it really is just for the physical aspect, then hell yes... No-one is going to get hurt..
I have been in this situation and although we are both older than my brother, he actually asked my brother (who lives with me) if it would bother him, if he took me home. How wierd was that? They are still best mates, and he and I are still mates too....

However, if you really like the guy, even if the feelings ARE reciprocated at this point in time. In the future, feelings could change and it could cause real problems between your brother and his friend, or you and your brother if there is a break up....
I've been in this situation too, with my sisters best male friend... Luckily, I had kept the whole thing a secret from my sister, so there wasn't any wierdness between she and I, nor him and her, but it is still a bit uncomfortable if I bump into him at hers..

Good luck, however you choose to procedure with your dilemma..

I had this dilemma to....

If you and this guy really like each other then there's nothing wrong with that, but you need to talk to your brother together and explain things to him.

He's gonna feel awkward to start with, in his eyes his relationship with his best friend will be altered but as long as him and his best friend still have "time" together without you that will change.
If it was any other guy you were seeing you wouldn't expect him to give up his best mate and spend all his time with you would you? So this is no different...

You've got to remember though that it WILL be strange and strained for a while but hopefully it should sort itself out so don't worry and just have fun!

I Would Say That It's Okay Only If Your Brother Doesn't Mind And If It Was Really Meant To Be Then It Will Happen

there is nothing wrong with going out with your brother`s best friend as long as he isnt trying to go out with the same person aswell as long as u tell your brother that you are thinking of asking his friend out on a date

If thats who you bond with yes...

love is a precious thing... dont live your life alone and hurt.

I had ok mates so would have been fine if they got with my sister... Shes married now so dont matter.

But what I wanted was a happy sister and her being lonley would have hurt her.

So if guys or mates thought she had nice **** I would be cool as it meant guys thought she was pretty and would want to be with her so she would not end up hurt and lonley.

I would want girl and guy mates to pull and be happy maybe with each other and a sister the same.

Would be cool with them copping off nearby as if with a maate she would be safe and kissing etc is what people do when they like each other... makes them happy.

Its people who would want to split them up as at work or in school/college for moral reasosns wetc who I would see as hurting her and would protect her against.

NO. Your brother will be really mad at you. Then he's going to be mean to his friend. & He will become EXTREMELY protective of you. Just don't do it. Find another guy. It's for your good.

Well, I would say no. But that is simply because I do have a younger sister and never had a good friend that I would have approved of her dating.

Hell yes! And you know that your potential boyfriend is never going to reveal to your brother what you are getting up to! He might get himself beaten up. Result!

I don't think so.Cause when and if you break up it might hurt there friendship and put your brother in the middle. There are lots of other boys/men to date.
