it's definitely an infection, if there is odor present...has anyone done a culture of the area?...you might not be on the right antibiotic...request a culture be done...good luck.

Sounds bad and very uncomfortable. Have you tried vitamin E, stick a capsule with a pin and squeeze it out and put it on there. Also maybe use some warm saltwater packs and don't move it around, just have it warm and place it on and pat it down and let it sit there for a few minutes. You've see a Dr. I don't know what else to tell you. The antibiotic should kick in soon. Always wash hands with soapy warm water before and after touching your face, always even once this clears up. buy some witch hazel at pharmacy and wash face with it each morning and night. It's a natural astringent, ph balancer and will help keep your skin nice. Always remember to keep hands washed, bacteria is on everything and it causes infections. OK? Good luck. Love coming your way.
