I've looked on Wikipedia, and google and the best I can come up with is Bi*ch, and female canine, canid...etc...

A lot of people confused my question with the need for an actual pet name. This is in fact incorrect. I'm looking for the name of the type, or kind...
ex: Calling a mix breed a "mutt"

B***h isn't just for mixed breeds, it's the acceptable and "proper" reference for all female dogs that breeders use; however, I hate it too! Heinz 57 is traditional, but I have to admit, I love the Canardly. That's fun!

The proper name for a female dog is "b****". This is not a curse word and its meaning as the name for a female dog existed before people decided to make it a bad word.
There are many names for mixed breed dogs of either sex, including mutt, mongrel, mixed breed, mix, and cross.
I know a woman with a mixed breed whom she has given the breed name of "All American".

you can name any dog pure bred or mixed breed any name you want to name it. and you may have a smart dog on your hands cause some mixed breeds are smart. and it being a female, name it something different. after your favorite female actor or singer or some one in your past. sometime people name their dog and after seeing the personalty they name it something else that suits it. good luck on naming her and watch her ways, she could almost name herself

My father used to call dogs of "mixed heritage" a heinz variety dog.
