Teddy or Chocolate
Im on my first date and im kinda nervous about this what should ido i hate bing nervous on a date

It depends on your intent...
Giving a box of chocolates to a weight-conscience chick is a very wrong thing to do!!
Giving a teddy or a rose will make you seem too sensitive (Your the guy! it's the girls job to be sensitive!)
Therefore, both options send wrong messages to the girl.
What do you think of this...
With an orchid in one hand and a romantice letter in the other would probably be too much for her. But this will bring you closer to getting the girl than with just a simple rose or choclates.

Most women love chocolate, some think Teddies are corny, and dislike 'em... but I'd go to a more personalized thing, show her you care, if she likes cats, make it a cat keychain or something like that, practical, useful, according to her likings, that she might wear often and reminds her of you, also not too expensive, you don't want her to think you're buying her time, it is just a detail. If you go for candy, buy funny candy, like one of those popsicle-rings that light inside haha, it is candy AND a non-compromising jewel that she can wear and eat. Let her know without having to say so, that you didn't buy it for "your date" you buy it FOR HER specifically. Good Luck

Most women would choose chocolate over a teddy bear, however, flowers is a noncaloric, nonfat classic for a first date.

Small Teddy possibly holding chocolate. The teddybear will last, the chocolate not so much.

A trinket like a bracelet or even a portrait of the person. Be creative. Nothing too cheesy like roses or chocolates. Maybe even a little kiss on the cheek would be nice.

The best present on a first date is pay attention and try to get to know her on personal level. Be a gentleman and open doors, and don't split the check (I know we say we want equal treatment, but that does not apply to first dates :) ). Good Luck

teddy as in teddy bear?
think you'll be fine without anything tho. but i;d say a flower :D nothing too fancy , a single stalk ? also depends on what your doing and whjere your going. if it;s a dinner then a stalk sounds nice. otherwise, i;d go without anything. :D

whatever else you do, dont go with the teddy
not for a first date
teddy says i'm lonley and desperate
flowers are good for a second date never before
flowers on a first date speak the same language as teddy
chocolates are good, women like chocolates,
chocolate is innocent...!

OMG!! There are so many presents you can give. There's the old flowers or candy. Mix a cd. Buy her meal. You don't have to get them anything. Don't be nervous GOOD LUCK!!

Be traditional-bring flowers.
If you want to give her something that will stick around, though, go for the teddy.
