I'll be arriving in Bangkok this tuesday, around 5pm. Which mode of transportation would you recommend to get from airport to hotel (Grand Hyatt Erawan)...taxi or limo service? I know limo service is more expensive than taxi, but if it's worth it I'll do it. Which is better? And about how much would each one cost me?

I don't think the limo is worth the extra cost, like a previous answer stated it will cost at least 1000 baht compared to around 200 baht to take the limo versus a taxi. Most of the limos are Mercedes sedans (you don't see "stretch" limos here) although some are Toyota Camrys, you can ask for the type car you want when you arrange the service. There is a limo counter at meeting area C when you leave the baggage area at Suvarnabhumi Airport, where you can make arrangements, or I'm sure you could have the Hyatt Erawan arrange to have one of their cars and drivers meet you on arrival, which I'm sure would be much more expensive. The taxis in Bangkok are almost always Toyota Corollas, usually quite new, and almost always very clean. So, it's just a matter of how much you want to spend and what type of car you want to ride in. Have a nice trip!

The limo is an overpriced toyota camry at BEST. It's better to take a cab which will only cost you around 300-400 baht depending on traffic. 65 baht toll way, 50 baht airport tax and 200-300 baht meter fee. Cabs in Bangkok are not bad. They are good, well running cabs. No use wasting good money on limos. A limo could cost you up to a 1000 baht easily.

Take the Limo. Its more expensive, but also more reliable, and safer.
