No. O produces O. If there is an A blood type, it came from another A blood type or an AB. That's how I understand it. Before anyone jumps to any conclusion, I suggest a retest. I have a friend who was sure she was an A blood type until she got pregnant and was informed that she was O.

an A blood type cannot come from two o parents however if there is only one o parent the child can be another blood type, and any combination of A, B, can have a type o child. There are more than 4 blood types. They are AA, Ao, BB, Bo, AB, and oo, with negative and positive blood types in each group.
That probably confuses the issue more.
