Lyn,
In regards to the root of your question, I am as good in person as i am on YA. I am this way because I truely believe what I say and I don't care what harm may befall me and I don't seek approval from people who share my beliefs... the fact is that My Faith gives me the strength to speak when others may be silent. If someone has questions and I have the answer I give it to them even if they may not like it... I would not be a Christian (Catholic) if I did not.... By the way I try never to attack ones beliefs but I do sometimes Attack the ignorance that spews from their mouths. If they don't believe then fine but when the person attacks another person by calling them stupid or ignorant for holding a certian belief the gloves come off. I know this is wrong but It is when another person is critical of others for their belief that I get defensive. I do it online and in person... I try to be blunt in all my life. Hope that answers your question about what i think.

The people that make remarks good or bad when giving answers would in person probably not say the same things face to face, and would act differently. Its not all their fault, its caused by (not) keeping right in their self discipline. We are a product of our upbringing. But we can change with help. We grow up in stages, or some times we never learn. But to those that think they are wise, They will get their rewards in life when they find out that life will pass them by. But for ones who truly want to learn the door is open.

You may be right about that, I've never really thought about it ... I just thought I was being honest lol. I suppose the reason we do get a bit bolder is because in "real life" we don't really get asked these questions so forthrightly.
In my day to day life I don't really say that much about religion to strangers; perhaps a few times I've mentioned it, but only to explain to another the reason for my actions. Like once when all the other kids were jumping over a little rope barrier to get back into the moonwalk/slide and I had my daughter running around as instructed by the workers there. A lady commented something like "oh the poor girl, let her jump it, everyone else is doing it" and I had to say "my faith requires I teach her to follow the rules and be truthful than to tell her to lie and cheat to get ahead".

I am not only a better talker because in person it is more personal and powerfully effective than in Q & A. Here most of the questions are blurry and ineffective and most of the time just plain ignoramic. However there a few diamonds in the rough, that really want and look for honest genuine answers.

The answers I give regarding The True Christain Faith here are most often the same answers I have given to someone in face to face confersation... I do not pull my punches with the truth of The Faith.... on YA I often have to edit for reasons of YA PC standards... but I try to be as honest as I can given the restrictiopns here.

I would like to think so. But haven't had the opportunity to do a lot of answering in person (except to my sister who wouldn't believe me if God Himself came and said I was right). In that case I am just as bold.

Nothing to examine. A christian will tell you to your face the wonders of God b/c they are excited about it, whereas the smart@sses on here would not respond the same way in person.

I am certainly two-faced about communicating with Christians. I am very polite and warm toward them in person. But when I come here, I answer to them like they are childish idiots. For better or worse, I show my true colors at Answers.

Well, I think here you have the advantage that you have time to think and write your answer. It would be more difficult if there is limited time on a face to face conversation.
On the other hand, with an interested - and patience - person, I would do fine, whatever their views.

I'm the same, I regularly mention God in my daily life and even quote the bible. Unless someone tells me they are offended I will gladly share the message as an "angel" of the LORD.
In the recent holiday season, I always said "Merry Christmas".
