It sounds like this lad is extremely jealous and is unable to accept the fact that you have moved on. But don't take this as he wants you back, cuz he might not want you but he doesn't want anyone else to have you either. Men are so selfish that way. He's worried that this new guy you are dating has got something he hasn't got and thats a big threat to him. Tell him straight to stop being so selfish and if he wants to be a proper mate to you then, to lay off this new guy. Good luck m8 x

If you don't want to ruin your current relationship why are you still friends with your ex, how would you feel if your current blokes ex was calling and flirting with him? I think the reason your ex is doing this is cause either (A) he wants you back, however this is unlikely because if he did he would have asked by now or (B) he doesn't like the fact you have moved on and he clearly hasn't, I am assuming that he isn't with anyone, seeing as he is flirting with you. Get rid hunnie, life is too complicated with out adding more on top. Good Luck

Oh wow sounds like history repeating itself, I too broke up in march and started dating someone in July, well my ex did the same and it DID break up the new relationship. I did like the new guy too, he was nice and I was happy after several years of trying to break up with someone. It was so hard for me because I did not want to be mean to my ex, I did and still do consider him a close friend and special. But if you want your new relationship more than going back in time, Well you must not answer any of his calls or text, I realize how hard this will be, it was for me. But after seeing what happened I wish I had because when it was all said and done my ex did not want me back just didn't want me to be with anyone else! Good luck!

Depends on who did the splitting, back in March? If it was you, it is obvious that he is still after you, and you are the only one who believes this "friends" thing. But if this is confusing you, maybe you are still into him?
Bottom line I'd make a choice, one or the other. Nothing good will come from trying to balance things.

Hello!
In my opinion I think that your ex is trying his best to ruin the relationship that your in now. I suggest that you either let him know that it is over between you and him. You need to let this ex of yours also know that it's none of his business who your new b/f is.
If your not careful and you answer your ex's questions regarding your new boyfriend.. your ex might try and cause some problems. This new b/f might not want to deal with jealous ex's and be involved due to possible problems, fights etc...
So take upon yourself to just ditch the ex really, I'd just stop communicating with him.. Theres nothing wrong with being friends with your ex, however in your case I say let by gones be by gones and have fun with your new b/f before he decides to get out before trouble starts.
Take care & best of luck to you in your situation.

Yes, of course he's jealous. I dont think he can stand the fact that your with another man. But if you dont have feelings for him anymore you should avoid him, because he might ruin your relationship with your new bf. And you dont have to answer to any of his questions, tell him its none of his business. Good Luck!

Yes hes jealous, either that or over protective but i doubt its the latter.
Tell him he needs to back off, you appreciate the fact hes checking in but its too much.

It's the same old story and it goes something like this. If I can't have you no one else can either. Tell him to drop off the end of the end of your world and get on with your life.
