A good way to determine if an animal is going blind is to figure out if they have a normal pattern and if so change it. In such i mean if food dishes and litterboxes and normal toys are always in the same location blindness may be overlooked, but if you move the dishes or place an object in the pets normal path you may be able to determine whether or not your pet is going blind. and if that doesnt work you can take the cat to the vets and get their professional opinion.

you can drop cotton balls in front of her face and see if she sees them. They are quiet when they hit the floor, so she won't move her head to the noise. She should get her eyes examined by a vet if she is having problems. Alot of pets are blind and are able to live a very good quality of life as long as they know their home. Chances are, even if she is blind, she can have a very good life.
***this is for jessikat as well:
unequal pupil size is called anisocoria. It has no direct relation to blindness. It is more neurological. You really need to see your vet if you haven't already. I am not trying to scare you. It could be nothing. Sometimes is happens from unknown reasons.
Here are some websites to visit as well:

www.petplace.com
also, do a general search for anisocoria in cats

Well how am i suppose o know that... look at its eyes and look and see if they are crossed or different colors... and also you can tell if it is blind if it runs into any walls or anything else... i have have seen a cross eyed dog before and let me tell you they are real and it can happen its nature and let nature take its place... or maybe you are not treating it well so try taking it to the vet to find out what is wrong with it..

If her eyes are cloudy or her pupils seem to be larger or smaller than normal, it is possible. If she runs into stuff, it could just be from dis-orientation. You should take her to a vet. If it is too expensive, send me a picture if your cat(face only) and I could probably tell you.
My cat is 13 and is beggining to go blind. One of her puoils are bigger than the other, and the eye that is bad is some-what cloudy.
I hope your cat is okay and it hasn't hurt itself. I give my best regards to you and your cat.

you know providing some info on her whould be very helpful, what your asking me know is like asking me to tell if someones kid has cancer when I've ever seen them. if you cat is blind it can be hard to tell, put your cat in a room and rearrange the furnure in another room, then let her walk in, see if she bumps into things, or get a very quite toy and drag it on the groun till she trys to catch it, then pull it into the air, see if she follows are looks around like it disapeared, do the same with a flashlight see ifshe reacts to a flashlight, put her ion dark room and turn on the lights, see if she blinks and squints her eyes.

Usually you can tell by things such as walking into walls and door, a sense of disorientation, etc. You can test it out (informally) by seeing if you can catch her attention by placing your hand towards her (without hitting her whiskers).
If you can't tell, it really isn't much of an issue. I suggest going to the vet if you are really curious.
