I don't think that's overweight at all, esp for 5'6". It's probably not really the weight at all, but she just has a low self/body-image... there are ways to work on that by working out, running, exercise of all kinds, but her attitude about herself probably needs the workout the most. I find that if you like yourself and show confidence in who you are, people stop looking at those flaws you believe you have. The curse of a woman is to be her own worst enemy. Tell her she's gorgeous and to quit complaining! lol If you think it is a really big deal for her and normal encouragement seems to get nowhere, then urge her to speak to a counsellor about it.

She is a good weight especially if she has some muscle mass. She may need some counseling for a low self esteem you don't want your friend to develop an eating disorder. Offer to exercise with her. Even just take a walk and talk every day, the exercise will be good for both of you.

No, she is not overweight, but it also depends if she's big boned and a little chubby. It dosen't matter the weight just tell her that from my advice, STOP COMPLAINING about yourself, oh and that a lot of guys find chubby girls attractive.
Best of Luck, Cristina

personally i dont think it is, tell her that she should stop caring what other people think when they look at her, after she is conforterable in her own skin, she'll realize there was never anything wrong with her weight.
