what drivers should i download for a nvidia geforce go 6100?
i have a gateway notebook with an amd turion 64 processor
i've tried the forceware winxp driver but it says it cant find drivers that match my hardware and then it closes. links are good. thanks

You might need to download the MobileForce drivers.
Here's a link, however, these are modified MobileForce drivers. However, you can just search for "Mobileforce drivers" and you can find the official ones from NVidia.

I must be missing something. Why are you installing ATI drivers when you are using an Nvidia based graphics card. Install the Nvidia drivers for your card and OS.
