We have a lot in common and I've been in love with her for quite some time. I don't know, she just brings happiness to me, you know? But I don't know if she feels the same, you know? I don't want to ask because then the awkwardness and all that jazz. What would you do? I have to do this very carefully, very diplomatic.

*Please don't say be confident, or be yourself. Because I'm not confident but I am myself all the time. Too much myself, if I can be frank.

Are you two dating? If not, go slow, but go. Ask her if she wants to grab a drink after work. Just make the first date pretty neutral but ask out again in a week. Give her time to think about you in a new way. If she turns you down flat, you know she doesn't have the same type of feeling for you that you have for her. If she's busy but says she go out another time, don't give up. Try again. Eventually it will be obvious if she wants to be more than friends. Just go very slowly so you have room to still be friends if she's not into you that way.

I met my hubby at work and we've been together since 1996 and married since 1998. We started out taking breaks together and then started flirting. Eventually he asked me if I would be interested in going out with him a bunch of friends , I told him I would think about it and we exchanged numbers. The day came for the group to go out and I told him I'd go... When we met up suddenly his best friend and his wife had to leave becausue one of their kids was sick...It left the two of us alone and we had a really great time.

I later found out that it was all a set up becasue he didn't want me to feel intimidated (not the right choise of words but..) he didn't want to lose the friendship if it was too awkward being alone in a 'date' setting with his friends canceling and not showing up.

it worked and we started dating and after a year dating got engaged, a year later we were married and now we have 2 wonderful children. I married my best friend.

Good Luck

If you have no confidence, then gain some. If you don't think you are a kewl person, why should anyone else?

Be VERY careful re: dating coworkers...when things go sour, it makes not only your personal life unpleasant but your work life as well.

As for being "in love" with her, do you really know her well enough to claim that? It doesn't sound like it...otherwise you'd already be in a close friendship or dating relationship.

Sounds like you should take her away from the work environment and get to know her on that level. If you have already ask her on a simple date. If she declines, than you will know. But if she says yes- than it could be the start of something great. Make the date something public and fun so she doesnt feel unconfurtable. Good luck!

Been there. I let it go and I regret it to this day. I definitely had a chance and I blew it because I thought about it to much. Just ask her for a casual date and take it slow. That way you start as friends and you stay friends if the dates dont work out for either one of you. Girls dont like it when you come on to them aggressively. Maybe when there good and drunk though.

I'd talk to her off site over coffee. I wish I had the nerve to tell the guy that I'm falling for (big time) at work my wish is he'd speak to me first about it. its a tough one. I wouldn't say hey I'm in love with you lets go out. Just tell her you are interested in getting to know her outside of work, if she says not a good idea, let her know that you are cool with that and will keep your distance and not cause her any trouble.

You might be very attracted to her, but you're not "in love".

If the two of you were in love, BOTH of you would know it.

It's up to you whether you want to go after her or not, if you ask her out privately she may or may not accept.

You should only ask her out if you think she's cool enough that, if she turns you down, she won't blab about it all over the office. She should respect your privacy enough that if you ask her out, she should keep it to herself if she declines.

Find out if she feels the same. If she does then talk about it with her. You may be able to make it work well despite working together.
I really think this is what you should do.
Hope this helps.

tattoos won't be able to be the in trouble-free words evidence that you want your daughter. your efforts of spending time which includes her whenever you are able to is the superb element a figure can make their little ones chuffed and sense loved.

love's to much to hold in, but make sure it's love before u make a move! start slow, maybe a date. dont freak her out by tellin her u love her. make sure she has fun and then go on another one. you'll just have to suck it up and ask her. theres a chance that somthin might go wrong but thats a chance u gota take.
