The frustrating thing is that several critics of the Iraq Fiasco have given alternative plans for getting US Troops out, but President Bush and Co. ignore them and accuse critics of not offering any solutions.
It's a psychological ploy on Bush's part to accuse his critics of not offering any solutions, when they do, to divert the public's attention.
It's a mess and tragic mistake and we are definitely not safer.

Considering that absolutely everything he's done has been wrong I don't see any reason for thinking any new plan he has will be anything other than a disaster.
Even if sending more troops is the right thing to do, he's gonna screw it up.
Of course, he attacked Kerry for wanting to send more troops two years ago. Maybe it would have done some good back then. In any event, Kerry couldn't have made as many miscalculations as Bush.

The Political Left leaders as just as late as December were all clamoring that we need more troops. But now the Left leadership is clamoring against it. I see we are heading back to the Clintonian era of govern by Polls.
- T+ 4 days, no plan from the left. Yes HW backed away, but the left has done a great job creating the "Instant Satisfaction Generation"

Mine did, yet round 9 or so I kept asking my R.E. instructor about the ravenous children and God being benevolent, i needed her to assert some thing so i could comprehend how both married up, she made me stand outdoors the lecture room in the hall each R.E. Lesson for some thing else of the year, i grow to be respectful and nicely mannered, i'm small and quietly spoken. She fairly hated me and enable it teach for some thing else of my regular college years. i ultimately admitted that even with the actual incontrovertible truth that I had tried desperately puzzling to 'sense' god's presence I under no circumstances had, I admitted I were kidding myself. i needed to be what I were indoctrinated to trust grow to be a good human being, i.e christian. Slowly I embraced the actual incontrovertible truth that i'm an atheist (by skill of agnosticism of direction). i ought to assert i trust large, i'm style and compassionate and do not see my mushy aspect as a weak spot, i trust good and loose. humorous element is my Dad grow to be an atheist and my mum continues to be a staunch catholic and the reality is my Dad grow to be a a lot nicer human being.

The way I see it, we didn't have too much trouble knocking Saddam out of power. If we just left and let the Iraqis settle their differences among themselves, whatever warlord or militia group that ends up in power, if they are hostile to the U.S. (which they almost certainly would be), could easily be wiped of the planet by our military in 2009, or whenever. That's what our military excels at: kicking the crap out of other armies, not baby-sitting a country full of hateful, backwards people who would like nothing better than to kill each other off day by day while they pray to Allah! We should stick to what we are good at and let the Iraqis sink or swim, we can always mop up the mess later.

There were no 9-11 then(no comparison), so what is the specific answer that you seek. We can not change the hands of time, but, move forward, if we could for the most, a lot of adults would choose to run around playing all day(instead of working), with snut running out our nose. It was much much easier then, in comparison to all the responsibilities in life.

Is not to late if only Bush admits that the whole war was a mistake, that wasn't about terrorism or weapons, apologizes and begs for help from UN and the few muslim nations you have left as friends.Iraq can be fixed only with international effort and if left alone will become the breathing ground for terrorists attack for years to come

Nope.. It's politics.. He knows that dems could write a 300 page book on a plan for what they think should be done and none of his supporters will look. You could hold it to there face and they'll still be on Y/A tomorrow asking what the dems plan is...

The Dems have been whining about Bush's policy for a long time; but I have yet to see them some up with a workable alternative.
If they knew a better way, why don't they say so before?
If they know a better way, say it now.
If they have no ideas, they need to shut-up.
Lead, follow, or get the heck out of the way.

Do you understand what will happen if we fail in Iraq?? I really don't think you realize what will happen to the world. This isn't Vietnam, this is a regional problem with international ramifications. Stop complaining about what was, and start caring about what is.
