i have a 99 cavalier the blinkers arent working well. when i turn them on they will blink once or twice then stop, they wont blink on the outside or nothing. But the hazards still work fine, they blink in and outside the car. i went to an autoparts store they said it might be the module below the steering column but i am not sure. anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it.

Iwould definantly change the signal flasher relay before you get into anything further. It could be just whats wrong with it. Its the cheapest way to find out what could be the problem.

Since you know that the bulbs work, the problem may be the relay. I paid $12 for mine and changed it out in a few minutes.
