Usually its when i've been relaxing for awhile - watching t.v, sitting in the hottub, ect. It happens whenever i stand up, and my vision goes slightly white. Is this the beggining of somethings that could be potentially dangerous or no?

This is a common symptom among many people. It is a form of hypotension that occurs when you immediately stand up after being in a supine position for a while. I know the feeling. It feels like everything is dropping down. No, it is not a beginning of something dangerous but just let your doctor know you have experienced this and it will be explained to you easier. You probably have a stable blood pressure that tends to get a little low. Other than the vision going slight white, I would say you are okay but better to be safe and inform your doctor. Mine eventually went away.

Best of health to you, just don't stand up too suddenly because your bp is dropping at a fast level when this occurs. The medical term is called "labile hypotension." See if you can find it on WebMD.

If your brain does not get enough blood flow, you feel light headed. Almost everyone has experienced this on occasion when standing up quickly from a lying down position. But some people have light headedness from poor circulation on a frequent or chronic basis. This could be caused by arteriosclerosis or hardening of the arteries, and it is commonly seen in patients who have high blood pressure, diabetes, or high levels of blood fats (cholesterol). It is sometimes seen in patients with inadequate cardiac (heart) function or with anemia.

Your blood pressure goes down when you go from sitting to standing and especially when you have been in hot water, that is a normal reaction, but it sounds like your body is overreacting. You should see a doctor. Call on Monday.

Yeah same! I'm blood phobic though :-S It sucks, even thinking about blood makes me feel all queasy and lightheaded, if i actually see blood i usually pass out within 30 secs... fun stuff eh? :-S Needles, blood... just general 'body stuff' makes me faint... which causes quite a problem in everyday life situations -biology lessons for example O.o

This is whats called orthostatic hypotension. Talk to your Dr. This is common, but needs to be evaluated. Just try sitting up and standing up slower. Give your body time to adjust!

when i was 13 i go in my bathtub, i like the bath hot, when u get out usually it changes yoyour body temperature too rapidly so ur vision fades to black, white, and back. It isn't dangerous it is just a sign of your body saying, "i don't want to lower my body's temperature"
your body doesn't like to have cold sensations too often so just relax, get out slowly and try not to change body temperatures too fast

YOU COULD GO INTO SHOCK IF U CHANGE TEMPERATURES TOO RAPIDLY
