If Christians are wrong about God, the worst that will happen is they live a fulfilled life that includes love and hope. Then they die. I'm okay with that.

If Christians are right, those who chose not to believe will be forever separated from God when they die.

Is it worth the risk?

It is a good thing I finished reading your question...I was just about to say Yes, but what if you are wrong.?
You are right...Though I have unwavering FAITH, so I know that GOD EXIST, That Jesus died, was buried , and rose again the 3rd day, and is now sitting at the right hand of GOD. He has gone to prepare a place for all who believe and obey .

I have often ask people that question...What if you are wrong and there is GOD! I am no worse off but YOU my friend will be lost forever in torment. Is it worth the risk????????

I get exhilaration from your question and understand that those "obnoxious Christians" make the Christan community as an entire look undesirable. actual, those "obnoxious Christians" relatively be afflicted by the delight of "self-righteousness. a real CHRISTIAN could rather like the soul as a human and take it slow to show out to that distinctive soul why their habit or way(s) opposes the notice of God. that's a certainty that that's impossible to get all of the international's inhabitants (say 6 billion) to agree on a similar element for any concern. the great variety in ideals, experience, training, upbringing, existence-form and many different aspects impasse this remember into the chaos that's a significant component to our on a regular basis lives. correct to your assertion "additionally, a pair of third of the international's inhabitants is Christian. look at any solid resource. this suggests, shockingly, the different 4 billion every physique isn't"... I do discover this to line up in settlement with the bible (a solid resource) scripture modern-day in MATTHEW 7:13-14 13 enter ye in on the strait gate: for extensive is the gate, and huge is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many THERE BE WHICH bypass in thereat: [Hell] 14 simply by fact strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto existence, and FEW THERE BE THAT discover IT. [Heaven] that's not often a accident... and have faith that the real question is "WHAT while you're incorrect?"

Actually if the bible is to be believed then NOTHING we do or think will make any difference!

After all unless you name was written in the book of life BEFORE the foundation of the world then you go to hell!!! Revelation 13:8 & 17:8

Additionally God created some for glory (heaven) and some for destruction (hell) We have no choice in what God created us to be! Romans 9:21 - 23

Then there is the humanity factor.
Can you honestly say that you could love anyone that would slaughter innocent babies? Not just one or two by all first borns?? GOD DID THAT!! EXODUS 11:5

Besides to love a God for no other reason then to avoid torture is akin to giving in to a rapest to saved from being raped!!!

First, I'm sorry about all the people who answered in a bad manner. It shows how imperfect people are when confronting others or when deciding what is right or wrong. And second, no it's not worth the risk. But it shouldn't be about whether it is worth the risk or not but about what you want and don't want in your life. If you want God in your life then he will be there. Remember, even though Adam and Eve went out the garden gates, he followed them. But that doesn't mean you should reject god.

If Christians are wrong what is the worst that may happen to them? We will die and never see anything else. However, I know that there is a God in the heavens and I know that I will see him one day. What if Christians are right? Isn't it better to be safe than sorry?

The more important thing is Testing your Belief's A lot of people today claim to serve God, but their actions prove weather they are? If you had knowledge of God you wouldn't have doubts or ask this type of question. I am sure you have some Knowledge, but ask yourself this: Am I honest hearted enough to change my viewpoint if shown how to find the truth?

This gets asked every second day. If it's all you've got, your argument for the existence of god is pathetic.

If christians are wrong they have spent much of their lives in a deluded state, praying and grovelling to a non existent entity. They will have thought that their imaginary friend had spoken to them and helped them through their lives. In fact it was them all along and they could have done better if they had realised they had the strength that they denied themselves. They must be disappointed in themselves on their death beds.

If Christians are wrong then you spent all your life telling people they are wrong, and you spent all your life praying to something that's not there, and you spent all your life saying that a miracle happened to you when it turns out it was a coincidence :)

and when you die you will be blinked out of existence, no fluffy clouds no spirit world, just sweet nothings.

if we (non-believers) are wrong we have to be blinked out of existence or go to hell for eternal torment.

I'm ready to pay the price if i am wrong, are you?
