So i was getting the eggs out of the hen house when i found a double yoker.so it made me curiuos.....can chickens hatch as twins???

I know from raising canaries that it is possible for 2 chicks to be in one egg. Usually they dont survive, but there are a few documented cases where they have. The chicks are smaller than normal, obviously. They would be indentical twins.

You are getting dumb answers. Having a double yoke technically means there are twins in there but there is no way they can live. There isn't enough room in the egg for two birds to grow and hatch.

I have found & seen many Chicken eggs with 2 Yolks. I think that neans Twins.

I know I have gotten double yolks before, but as far as my chickens hatched.. None were twins that I knew of!

yes they can and you can even get an unfertilized egg that if it was fertilized it would be twins.
