No other product has the strength of SuPerna™, which is why we have trademarked the process. SuPerna™ is unique - there is no other green lipped mussel product in the world.
Many vets believe that the best treatment for dog arthritis is prevention, in the form of regular exercise, a healthy, natural diet, and perhaps the addition of glucosamine and chondroitin, both of which are known to repair and rebuild cartilage in the joints.
If your dog has already developed arthritis, your vet may discourage you from choosing to use harsh forms of treatments, such as pain killers or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that often come with even harsher side effects.
First and foremost, diet is of the utmost importance in helping your dog to maintain healthy joints. For this reason, you ought to try example: "Flint River Ranch Senior Plus" dog food, which contains both glucosamine and chondroitin for healthy joints.
You may to try Condrotin (the herb for joints) comes in Capsules would be helpful to lubricate her joints. It really works, but that got expensive.
You may to try give Chondrotin, is actually a fancy name for Gelatin. It gets it (1 tablespoon), per meal, (twice daily).
If your dog is too heavy to lift, consider buying your pooch his own orthopedic bed.
The next step is to start glycosaminoglycan supplements, which fortify the cartilage in diseased joints and may help reduce pain. These supplements are available from veterinarians under names like Cosequin, Promotion, Osteocare and Glycoflex. Glucosamine sulfate or glucosamine hydrochloride alone may also be effective, and these are available at most heatlh food stores. Antioxidant vitamins will probably be helpful for this pathologic inflammation, and homeopathic treatment is sometimes effective, as well.
Many pet owners wonder about herbal treatments. In my experience, popular herbs often recommended for arthritis (such as alfalfa, devil's claw and yucca) do not work well. On the other hand, the Ayurvedic herbs boswellia and curcumin as well as certain Chinese herbal combinations may be fairly effective. If herbal treatment is attempted, consult a veterinarian experienced in Eastern herbal prescription systems.
Finally, acupuncture is very effective at reducing pain from arthritis. Acupuncture will usually involve 4-8 treatments initially, but is usually reduced to "tune-up" treatments over the long term.
Arthritis is manageable by a variety of natural and conventional treatments.

There used to be something called Elastin that you could give your dog that suffered from arthritus. You can also get something called joint aid, it helps restrengthen the muscle round the joints making it easier for them to move
