Hi all - I need to change the headlight bulb, have read the instructions and also some online stuff, I just can't seem to get the clip to move too much and I don't want to break anything. I know the clip pivots at the bottom, can anyone provide an accurate description of how to swivel it please? If anyone has a diagram (better than the one in the manual) that would be way cool. Thank you!

Thank you, but that's just the type of answer I hoped to avoid, unclear and not descriptive. Can anyone try again please?

OK!! Here is the definitive answer for all those out there in need, courtesy of the fine service department at Team Ford here in chilly Edmonton, in western Canada. It is amazingly simple and requires NO TOOLS and NO FORCE. There is apparently a loop of metal that holds the bulb in, it is NOT a loop, it is two upwards pointing wires. The one to the INSIDE has a curved loop at the top, just push it down slightly and the retaining clip springs back from the lamp. Unplug the old, plug in the new, remember not to touch the bulb. Any questions IM me, happy to help, and thanks again Navy mechanic for your prompt response! Question closed, sadly no best answer but my own.

What clip? I thought you would just reach behind the light and twist the locking ring counter clock wise and just pull the bulb out attached to the plug. Then just unplug it. Install new bulb....Be careful not to touch the glass on the bulb reinsert it and twist locking ring clock wise to lock it back in place.
From what you said it sounds like your trying to remove the whole headlamp assembly.
